Estonia’s AI Data-Centre Pipeline Could Require Up to 2,900 MW of Grid Capacity

In reporting published during October, Invest in Estonia described strong demand for future data-centre connections, with applications for seven projects totalling nearly 2,900 MW of requested capacity by the end of September. A 22 MW AI deployment at Greenergy Data Centers in Hüüru was scheduled to come online later in 2026. The 2,900 MW figure represents requested capacity, not secured investment or installed power.
